Investment casting, or precision casting in another name, needs a set of special equipment such as wax injection machines, vacuum dewaxing machine, baking furnace, electrical furnace and other post-processing machines like spectrometer, shot blasting machines, tumbling and acid cleaning lines...etc. At RMC Foundry, we employ the latest in advanced technology and cutting-edge process equipment at various phases of the investment casting process. Tooling design, wax pattern injection, wax pattern assembly, shell-making, pouring, heat treatment, and testing are all performed using the best available machinery, operated by our qualified team of experts.

Wax Injection Equipment
RMC Investment Casting Foundry utilizes the automatic wax injection machine for wax pattern making and vacuum dewaxing machine for dewaxing clear without deformation of sand shell. Our wax injection machines increase the effeciency on wax pattern making. It can heat solid wax and keep the desired temperature effectively. Additionally, it can feed wax automatically with assistance of the pressure system. Our automatic wax injection machines allow us to achieve higher casting yields and reduced lead times for high volume production runs. Our emphasis on process automation helps to minimize the risk of handling damage. Thanks to this technology of automatic wax injection machine, the labor costs could be saved dramatically during the investment casting process.

Electrical Furnaces
With the effective and clean electrical furnaces in investment casting process, our working environment have been improved a lot than before and than other foundries. 

Spectrometer for Analyzing Chemical Compositions
Spectrometer is really necessary for all alloy steel investment castings. It is used for analyzing the ingredient or the chemical composition before pouring the molten metal. This analysis could ensure that the chemical composition of the molten metal in each furnace match the required numbers.

Heat Treatment Line
Our heat treatment line consists of equipment from our long-term furnace solutions provider. Our CNC heat treatment line can perform multiple operations such as conditioning, solution, carbon restoration, carbonitriding, and tempering of carbon steel, stainless steel, high alloy steel and low alloy steels. Our heat treatment line runs 24 hours a day with only manual loading and unloading required when necessary.

CNC Machining Equipment
Precision steel castings always involve post precision CNC machining. RMC steel investment casting foundry once was a precision machining factory with complete machining facilities like CNC turning machines, versatile lathers, CNC milling machines, grinding machine, drilling and tapping machines, honing machines, simple table turning machines and CNC machining centers.

Laboratory Inspection and Testing
All casting products are thoroughly inspected in accordance with internal quality management procedures to ensure compliance with customer and industry specifications and standards. Our inspection consists of three coordinate measuring machines (CMM) capable of verifying dimensions. We also employ strict PPAP and process flow verification procedures to guarantee the quality of all materials during the manufacturing process. Final inspections processes are further proceeded with our multi-station automatic X-ray testing systems. This ensures that all products that leave our facility are free from internal defects such as gaps, cracks, holes, or inclusions that may compromise the component's structural integrity.
